: This weeks illustration friday topic is karma. (title:anusharaji)
Better late than never and better crappy than nothing.

Its a story about three fishes named madhumathi,charumathi,bhagyamathi.
That was my favourite story in my childhood days (ie 4th class (80's story)).
Now i find a different version in 6th class text books these days.
Here is how it goes...
There are three fishes in a small lake named deergadarsi, prapthagnudu, deergasuthrudu.
Summer season was about to begin.
Deergadarsi is smart enough to presume that the lake is gonna dry in summer and moves to other large lake while the other two fishes neglect his invitation.
Eventually hot summer dries out every lake...n fishermen starts fishing.
prapthagnudu keeps up his hope and makes a plan to escape.
Deergasuthurudu cant plot any plan and gets frightened and loses hope.
Fisherman catches both of the one day and Prapthagnudu gets out of the trap and manages to jump into the lake, while Deergasuthrudu lies in net, almost dead, wishing for karma to workout.

Three fishes have same karma at start, but one has intelligence to foretell by signs, other is smart enough to make his karma workout for him and other loses him hope and wanted his karma to workout for him.

Porn fans made to do sit-ups

At a time when porn MMS are being flashed by everyone who’s hip and happening, the Orissa police has decided to take strict action against porn watchers. 200 cinema goers had to do 10 sit- ups each for watching a porn film.

The audience, in Balasore, Orissa, also had to promise never to watch porn again.

It’s part of a new police tactic of trying to prevent pornographic movies from being screened.

Instead of prosecuting cinema-owners, the police are trying to scare their audience away.

Balasore SP Sanjeev Panda said a police team, acting on a tip-off, raided the theatre and detained the audience. They were taken to a public place and made to do 10 sit-ups each.

“Earlier, we acted against the hall owners and their staff. But it failed to effectively check illegal screening of obscene movies. So we decided to crack down on the audience,” Panda said.

The audience also included a large number of truant schoolchildren below 17. Their parents were called by the police and made to witness the punishment.

Three killed over role-playing game in Brazil

Man allegedly offered his,parents' lives if he lost game

SAO PAULO, Brazil - A 21-year-old man and his parents were killed after the man agreed to be murdered along with his family if he lost a murder-mystery role-playing game, local media reported Saturday.

Authorities said the man and two others were playing characters who might be murdered depending on the outcome of the game. After Thiago Andrade Guedes lost, he allegedly allowed the other men to carry out the killings, just as happened in the game.

Guedes and his parents were killed on April 26 after being drugged and tied to a bed, police said. Their bodies were found nine days later at the home in the town of Guarapari, 440 miles northeast of Sao Paulo.

: Finally i was invited into orkut by a friend(better say stranger) rather ironically, since the site is "invitation only" n that boosted my craziness towards it.
since its regarded as an elite group and that too from google community....
i should say i had much greater expectations but
after becoming part of community i didnt find it interesting....
its simply pedestrain( may be i am looking for something novel) except that you can be behind bars if u have never been to jail and remember "no donuts for you"
and if you are lucky enough u get good amount of server errors(lucky bcoz u can do real work atleast in those 30 sec intervals).

i found it when i was lurching down the road with no apparent aim, it was so minute and zoomed it to my best(used digital zoom in camcorder), would have captured better with a good camera.

In India, this sport is active during "Sankranthi" festival.
"Kranthi" means "transformation or change" and sankranthi is secured transformation. It marks the withdrawal of the southeast monsoons as well as the reaping of the harvest. It is the biggest harvest festival, spread over three days.
I play with kites along with my brother each year......
so they flashed into my mind when i thought of sport.....

Blasts in London

A series of explosions ripped through London's transport system today as suspected terrorist attacks on tube trains and a bus plunged the capital into chaos.

The prime minister,Tony Blair, said it was "reasonably clear" that the blasts were the work of terrorists, and added that it was "particularly barbaric" that attacks had been timed to coincide with the start of the G8 summit. He said he would leave Gleneagles, in Scotland, to return to London.

The home secretary, Charles Clarke, confirmed that there had been four blasts: one on a tube train between Aldgate and Liverpool Street, one on a train between Russell Square and King's Cross, one on a train at Edgware Road station, and the last on a bus at Tavistock Square.

so couldnt update my posts Phone line was dead (which lineman Jonny fixed) and someone swapped ADSL splitter connections....grrrrr....
I titled this post "born again" coz net was my world (meri jaan)
computer is my body and net is my soul.......looks like a movie song lyrics?......hehe he
I am one of those dorks who cries when net goes down(guess theres atleast one more like me)

I was bored yesterday(obv.) and asked for a comedy movie at cd rental shop
guess what? he gave me Waqt....gosh .....thats tragedious ...i couldnt stop my tears and when i looked at my mom(she joined me few minutes back) whether she sensed them......ha ha ha h ah ha haa haaa ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...oops!
she wore a gloomy face n teardrops enchanced its affect....haha haaaaaaaaaaa
kya scene hai! She praised me for watching such a movie from start
by the way i illustrated the above one today....thats the way i used to doodle in my childhood....a small hut , sun, birds and a tree ...i dont know how to draw other things though . ha ha

Today i was searching for an old joke which i read few months back while chatting with my friend(Sat). I couldnt find it and i was about to give up.The very moment my friend forwarded the same joke to me. That was astounding....wasnt it?

According to wikipedia,a coincidence is a happenstance—a simultaneous collision of two events—that has no special significance and obeys the laws of probability.

"Coincidences" are familiar to all of us. They can involve startling conjunctions of events, such as chance meetings with old friends, or coincidences of personal habits or of anniversaries. Should we be surprised by coincidences?

Think of it this way. There is a great number of events which could possibly occur (N, say) and which might deserve the title "coincidence". Each of these may have a very small probability of occurring in any given week (p, say). Now N is large, and p is small, but the average number of occurrences (i.e., the product Np) may be of reasonable size. It follows "by the laws of chance" that coincidences will definitely occur sooner or later. Indeed, the world would be more surprising if coincidences never occurred.
